As one of my nearest and dearest said to me via email this week:
'Being a "true Christian" means when people say "Happy Holidays" you don't assume it is because they are trying to take Christ out of the season. It means they are wishing you good cheer no matter your beliefs.'
Aaaaamen.
Tis the season for good cheer to all my loves, no matter your celebration.
I really like that. Going to remember that one.
ReplyDeleteAmen - seriously, it feels like people get way up on their high horse about that.
